Conservation and international development executive with 20+ years leading climate finance, applied research and field-based biodiversity programmes across five continents. Directed multi-country initiatives across the Pacific and Asia-Pacific, securing over AUD$6M in combined funding and forging partnerships with governments, boards and investors to deliver tangible results on the ground. This is underpinned by a globally recognised scientific career spanning two decades of peer-reviewed research on marine and terrestrial birds (among a broader range of species) across Antarctica, Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, with findings that have directly shaped government policy on plastics pollution, biological invasions and threatened-species protection.
